The warranty

ubrokeit's lifetime warranty, in plain terms

Every repair ubrokeit does is backed for as long as you own the device. No expiration date, no “30 days and you're on your own.” This page lays out exactly what that covers, what it doesn't, and how to use it.

What's covered

The work ubrokeit does is guaranteed for life

The warranty covers two things, for as long as you own the device you brought in:

  • Workmanship. The repair itself. If the work ubrokeit performed doesn't hold — a screen that lifts, a part that wasn't seated right, an issue traced back to the repair — ubrokeit makes it right at no charge.
  • Installed parts. The parts ubrokeit fits during the repair. If one turns out defective, it's replaced at no charge for the life of your ownership.

There's no time limit and nothing to register. The warranty travels with the repair, for as long as the device is yours.

What it doesn't cover

New damage is a new repair

The warranty stands behind the repair ubrokeit did. It can't stand behind something that happens to the device afterward. The following are new breaks, not warranty failures:

  • A fresh drop, crack, or bend after the repair.
  • Liquid or water damage.
  • Misuse, accidental damage, or normal wear over time.
  • A different, unrelated fault that wasn't part of the original repair.
  • Work done to the device by someone else, or a part swapped out elsewhere, after ubrokeit's repair.

None of that means you're out of luck — it just means it's a new repair, quoted honestly like any other. Bring the device in and ubrokeit will tell you what it actually needs.

Making a claim

How to use the warranty

It's simple: bring the device back. Because the warranty covers the device ubrokeit repaired for as long as you own it, two things confirm a claim:

  • The repaired device. ubrokeit keeps a record of every repair, so the original work can be matched to the device.
  • Proof it's the same ownership. Your repair receipt or the original record is all that's needed. The warranty stays with the owner ubrokeit did the work for; it doesn't transfer if the device is sold or handed on.

Call ahead or just stop by during open hours. You'll hear what's going on before any work happens, the same as the first time.

Why it's worded this way

Straight from Gregory

The reason the lifetime warranty exists is simple: if I do a repair, I stand behind it. A part I installed turns out defective, or the workmanship doesn't hold — bring it back and I'll make it right, no charge, no expiration date.

What I can't do is warranty a device against being broken again. A new drop or water isn't the repair failing — it's a new break, and nobody can make a phone you can't break. That's the one line, and I'd rather say it plainly than hide it in fine print.

What I promise is this: the work I do holds. And if it ever doesn't, it's on me.

A warranty is only worth as much as the work behind it. Book a repair with ubrokeit and get it done right the first time — backed for as long as you own the device.
