Done while you wait

Most iPhone repairs done in 15-90 minutes, usually while you wait.

The right part for your repair

OEM when it matters, quality alternatives when budget does. ubrokeit matches the part to what you actually need.

No surprises

You'll know what the repair involves, and what it costs, before we proceed.

The hard stuff

Told it can't be fixed? That's usually where ubrokeit starts.

What we fix

ubrokeit has spent fifteen years getting repairs right — first on Apple devices, now on every major brand. The precision that took to learn is the same precision every device gets today.

Don't see your device? It's probably one we fix. Tell us what you've got — if we can repair it, we will.

iPhone repairs are usually done while you wait. For other brands, ubrokeit orders the exact part for your specific model — often a day or two — because the right part beats whatever's in a drawer. Either way, you'll hear the honest timing before you commit, not after.

How a repair actually begins

How ubrokeit figures out what your device actually needs

Most shops start with a tool. ubrokeit starts with a conversation. Here's Gregory on how a repair actually begins:

I've been fixing devices in West LA for fifteen years, since before there was a shop on every corner. Thousands of repairs. And the most useful thing all that buys you happens before I ever pick up a tool.

The first thing I do is talk to you. Half the time I can tell what happened from the crack pattern alone. Then I listen to the exact words, because the repair you walked in asking for isn't always the repair you need.

The charging port. Someone says, "I need a new charging port." I ask what it's doing. If the answer is "I have to hold the cable at an angle for it to charge," that's almost always lint packed into the port. A quick cleaning, not a replacement. About $125 turns into about $25. Plenty of shops would clean that port in five minutes and bill you for the full replacement anyway. I won't.

The battery hiding behind the port. Someone else comes in just as sure they need a charging port. So I ask the same question: what's it actually doing? This time it's "it charges fine, but the battery's dead by lunch." That's not the port at all. A bad port is a charging problem; draining fast is a battery problem. Two different repairs, and the one they walked in asking for wouldn't have fixed a thing. Without that one question, they'd have paid for a new port and walked out with the same dead phone by 2pm.

The screen that's right for the situation. Not every repair needs a top-tier screen, and I'll tell you when it doesn't. Trading your phone in? The carrier just needs a screen that isn't cracked. A quality LCD does that for a lot less, and paying for OLED would be money wasted. Working with a budget? Same thing: a cheaper screen gets you a working phone today. What I won't do is put one in without telling you what it is. An LCD in a phone that came with OLED will look a little different and draw a bit more power, so if you're keeping the phone long-term, I'll lay out both options and let you pick with the full picture. The screen isn't the decision. Knowing what you're choosing is.

That conversation-first method is the standard every ubrokeit repair is held to, and it's why people leave knowing what they actually needed, not just what they were sold.

The lifetime warranty

What ubrokeit's lifetime warranty actually covers

This one gets misunderstood a lot. ubrokeit gets calls saying "I dropped my phone, but you gave me a lifetime warranty." So here's exactly what it means, straight from Gregory:

My lifetime warranty covers my work: the repair I did, for as long as you own the device. If a part I installed turns out defective, or the workmanship doesn't hold, bring it back and I'll make it right, no charge, no expiration date.

What it doesn't cover is new damage. A fresh drop, water, misuse, or any other harm to the device after I've fixed it. That's not the repair failing, that's a new break, and it's a new repair. No shop and no manufacturer can warranty a device against being broken again; nobody can make a phone you can't break.

What I can promise is this: the work I do holds. And if it ever doesn't, it's on me.

I needed someone to replace my iPhone 16 Pro screen on a pretty tight turnaround, and am so glad I found ubrokeit. Super communicative, transparent, and easy to book with.

Our old iPhone 12 seemingly died when we woke up. Greg got back to us right away, we brought it in, and he identified the issue: needed a new battery, and he cleaned up the screen and ports.

I came in with a broken Macbook screen and came out with it looking brand new.

He communicated clearly what he intended to do, about how much it would cost (which was very reasonable for the work involved), and let me know when I could pick it up.

Repaired (cleaned) the charging port on my Pixel 6a in 20 minutes. $25 saved me from having to buy a whole new phone.
